Winninowie

Fleurieu Civil & Construction was engaged by SA Water to install 4,978m of DN200 MPVC in Winninowie just south of Port Augusta.

The project included the development of a new service road and the management of local vegetation through thorough environmental considerations.

The construction included:

• 4,978m of DN200 MPVC
• 48m of DN250 HDPE directional bore under the Horrocks Pass Highway
• Installation of 3 stop valve assemblies
• 56m od DN200 Ductile DCTJ dog legs for watercourse works
• 14 x fire plugs
• Full system flush, chlorination, and commissioning

The project was executed on time, on budget, and with zero safety events. A great achievement by the team working in a remote environment.
